Beyond Medicare

Coverage for the gaps Medicare doesn't fill.

Medicare does a lot, but it doesn't do everything. Depending on your coverage, you may still be exposed on dental work, glasses, hearing aids, hospital-stay copays or care outside the country. I offer supplemental policies that can help close those gaps — and if you don't need one, I'll tell you that, too.

Supplemental choices

Coverage built around a specific gap.

Supplemental coverage

Dental, Vision & Hearing

From routine cleanings to dentures, eye exams to glasses, hearing tests to hearing aids. Available as stand-alone coverage alongside your Medicare plan.

Supplemental coverage

Hospital Indemnity

Pays a cash benefit for covered hospital stays. Many people pair this with a Medicare Advantage plan to help offset inpatient copays.

Supplemental coverage

Cancer & Critical Illness Policies

A lump-sum benefit paid on a covered diagnosis, to help with the costs health insurance doesn't touch — travel, lodging, lost income, deductibles.

Supplemental coverage

Short-Term Health Insurance

Bridge coverage between jobs or before Medicare begins. These are limited-duration plans and are not a substitute for comprehensive major-medical coverage.

Supplemental coverage

International Travel Medical

Original Medicare generally doesn't cover care outside the United States. If you travel abroad, a travel medical plan can go with you.

Supplemental coverage

Medicare Bridge

Retiring before 65? Bridge plans are designed to carry you from employer coverage to the day Medicare begins.

I offer these products through carriers such as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana, National General (an Allstate® company), GeoBlue and Petersen® International Underwriters.

You won't find an online quoting tool here. These products are inexpensive but easy to buy wrong. Call me — ten minutes on the phone and I'll tell you what a policy costs, what it actually covers, and whether it's worth it for your situation.

Ready to discuss specific plans?

Before we can go over specific plans, Medicare requires a quick Scope of Appointment form. It is not a commitment—it simply confirms which types of coverage you are open to discussing.
